The Dogg Haus has been dishing out Milwaukee's finest hot dogs and Italian Beef sandwiches since April 1st, 2005. Emphasizing quality, cleanliness, and community, the Dogg Haus strives to transform the average eating experience into one where patrons feel comfortable and at home.
Opening in early spring of 2005, the Brady Street Dogg Haus first embodied these qualities by building strong and friendly ties with the colorful neighborhood. After 2 years, in the wake of Brady Street Dogg Haus' success, and after requests to open came in droves, arrived the second location in the heart of the Marquette University Campus. This location has become a favorite for daytime business people as well as a late night stop before or after a Golden Eagles game. Another year passed and The Dogg Haus opened in the heart of downtown Milwaukee's financial district on East Wisconsin Ave. This location has become a lunchtime favorite. After another year and after many requests, The Dogg Haus opened on the UW-Milwaukee Campus. This location is perfect for lunch or dinner or just a place to grab a bite and catch up on school work.
Most recently The Dogg Haus has reached its fifth location and has opened at Cathedral Square Park, in a neighborhood that holds Milwaukee's finest restaurants and bars. This location's modern look and feel is complimentary to the surrounding neighborhood, which hosts Jazz in the Park every Thursday in the summer as well as a multitude of festivals all summer long. Although expanded, the credo of quality, cleanliness, and community remains the same.
The Dogg Haus serves Vienna Beef products--the famous brand that has made Chicago the hot dog Capital of the world for over a 100 years. Using only the freshest bread and vegetables, this century-long Windy City tradition has established an equally passionate following 90 miles to the north. The Dogg Haus has won numerous "Best Of" Milwaukee awards including the Shepherd Express' "Best hot dog" six years in a row, Milwaukee Magazine "Best Hot Dog", WISN A-List Nominee, Onmilwaukee.com, Winner of Best Hot Dog since 2008, just to name a few.
